Fulfillment and Purpose

 Every person has his own ability
To help in some way, contribute to making
The world a more beautiful and cheerful place,
By giving in some way and not just taking. 


If we only live to please ourselves

, that’s all,
Our own amusement, advancement, our own gain,
Our lives are empty, fruitless and purposeless,
Lacking value for each day we so remain.

But having a true caring and giving heart,
To serve in a myriad of blessing ways,
As fellow helpers in God’s noble army,
Gives a sweetness and strength to all our life’s days.
