This poster is a collage of pictures taken at the redeication of the Zion Trail Tree and the pow-wow from August, 2001.

The Zion Trail Tree is one of the few remaining trees that were used to mark the trails used by the Potawatomi in our area. This tree had originally been plagued and dedicated by the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1936. To preserve the history the Forest County Potawatomi Elders, the Zion Park District, the DAR Waukegan Chapter, And the Potawatomi Trails Pow-wow Committee rededicated the tree on August 25th, 2001.
