Why Cheese Curls Don’t Grow on Trees
Sandy Dickson

Edibles that God allowed to grow on trees are generally considered healthy. Fruits and berries all have certain food values with virtues we extol. They are packed with vitamins and minerals, and scientists have been able to supply us with lists of specific benefits in all God-given foods.
God knew that He dare not put cheese curls, potato chips and Pringles on trees, lest they also be perceived as being chocked full of healthy nutrients. In His infinite wisdom, He decided that He dare not deceive mankind that way. Mankind is weak enough as it is and couldn’t be trusted not to be picking the trees bare with every opportunity.
He also knew that humankind’s appetite for these things was intense enough that it would behoove him to have to go to the store to get them because it’s more effort than the convenience of planting such trees in their back yards. It would give the unhealthy snack seekers a bit more exercise.
Have you ever noticed that no junk food grows on trees? I believe that’s why and it’s perfectly logical.
