6. You can buy moo moos; elsewhere a long since abandoned style.

5. You can get a sun tan while the rest of the country is either shoveling snow or contending with veritable cold snaps.

4. You can then go home with Mickey Mouse stuff and a tan.

3. There are endless flea marketing opportunities.

2. There are numerous but important opportunities to brush up on your driving-defensively skills as the many elderly folks venture out onto the public roads.

1. People who are older than you (and someone most always is) refer to you as “The kid.”

And a bonus reason is that if you decide to retire there, you will sort of know your way around.
