There exists inside of each person,
Since the day of our life’s arrival,
Things our creator knew we would need
To facilitate our survival:

Like a natural instinct to live;
A desire mammals and insects share.
Even flies and spiders take fast flight
For threats of which they become aware.

And so it is with a built-in need,
For spiritual devotion and will.
But since God vowed to give each man choice--
It’s up to each as to how to fill.
