Night Before
Zion Christmas
Sandy Dickson
‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through Zion’s land,
Zee Bees were a-buzzin’ because Christmas was at hand.
Kringle’s Kindgom was twinkling as soon as it was dark,
And so was the display that shined just south in the park.
Stores were open for last minute shoppers all harried,
As their shelves emptied off to the items they carried
The last items of Christmas lists are being bought up
And for those who missed someone, excuses were thought up
At Paige Turner, the Flamini’s were their selling books
And salons all over town were improving folks’ looks.
Zion Benton News was still there cranking out stories—
All Zion was aglow with the holiday glories
Most seats were taken at the eating institutions:
And Curves will see you after your New Years resolutions.
